We employ three primary techniques depending on your design requirements and quantity. Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing uses specialized inkjet technology to apply water-based inks directly onto fabric, ideal for complex designs with multiple colours and photographic images on cotton shirts.
Screen printing involves creating stencils for each colour layer, making it cost-effective for bulk orders of 50+ units with simpler designs. This method produces vibrant, durable prints that withstand numerous wash cycles.
For performance fabrics and polyester blends, we use dye sublimation, where heat transfers dye into the fabric fibers, creating permanent, fade-resistant prints perfect for sportswear.
Production time varies based on order size and printing method. Small orders (1-10 shirts) using DTG typically require 2-3 business days for printing. Medium orders (11-50 units) take 4-5 business days, while larger quantities requiring screen printing need 7-10 business days due to screen preparation.
Within London, we offer next-day delivery for completed orders. Standard UK delivery takes 2-3 working days via Royal Mail or courier services. Express overnight shipping is available for urgent requirements at additional cost.
We send email updates when your order enters production, completes printing, and ships. All orders include tracking information so you can monitor delivery progress.
Vector formats produce the best results: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF files with outlined fonts and embedded graphics. These formats scale to any size without losing quality, essential for large print areas.
For raster images, we require PNG or TIFF files at minimum 300 DPI resolution. The file dimensions should match your intended print size - for example, a 30cm x 30cm chest print needs at least 3500 x 3500 pixels at 300 DPI.
JPEG files are acceptable but may show compression artifacts. Avoid images downloaded from websites, as these are typically 72 DPI and will appear pixelated when printed. Our design team can review your files before production and suggest improvements if needed at no charge.
We stock Gildan, Fruit of the Loom, and Bella+Canvas shirts in various styles. Standard cotton shirts come in sizes XS through 5XL, with fitted, regular, and oversized cuts available. Weights range from 145 gsm lightweight summer shirts to 200 gsm heavy cotton for durability.
For premium options, we offer organic cotton certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), recycled polyester blends, and performance moisture-wicking fabrics. Colours include 30+ standard options, from classic white and black to navy, burgundy, forest green, and pastels.
Children's sizes start at age 3-4 years through age 12-13. We also provide polo shirts, long-sleeve tees, hoodies, and tank tops for printing. Samples of blank garments can be sent before ordering to check sizing and fabric quality.
No minimum order exists - we print single shirts for personal use or test samples. Pricing per unit decreases with quantity due to setup efficiencies. A single shirt costs approximately £18-25 depending on garment type and design complexity.
Orders of 10+ shirts reduce unit price by 20-30%, while 50+ units qualify for bulk screen printing rates, offering 40-50% savings per shirt compared to single orders. Orders exceeding 100 units receive custom quotations with additional discounts.
For ongoing business needs, we offer account pricing with locked-in rates for 12 months, free storage of screen printing frames for reorders, and priority production scheduling. This benefits companies ordering staff uniforms, promotional merchandise, or event apparel regularly throughout the year.
Turn shirts inside out before washing to protect the print surface from abrasion. Use cold or warm water (maximum 30°C) with mild detergent - avoid bleach and harsh chemicals that degrade ink bonds. Machine wash on gentle cycle or hand wash for delicate designs.
Air drying preserves print quality longest. If using a tumble dryer, select low heat and remove shirts while slightly damp. High heat can crack or fade prints over time. Never iron directly on printed areas - place a thin cloth between iron and design, or iron the reverse side only.
Screen printed shirts withstand 50+ washes with proper care. DTG prints last 30-40 washes before showing noticeable fading. Avoid dry cleaning unless specifically indicated on garment labels. Store shirts folded rather than hung to prevent stretching of print areas, particularly on shoulder and neckline designs.
